YAY! I am finally done with a series! This is like the longest project I ever took on. I even amaze myself. I had fun doing it though.

So I say I'll explain why I am doing this and stuff. At first, my idea came when I thought that Fruits Basket ought to have some fruits in it, that it's ironic that it had nothing to do about fruits in the whole manga (except Tohru's memory)...it seems. LOL!!! So then I thought I'd figure out what fruit goes for which character. I took in the consideration of fruit color and flavor and character color and personality. It was an interesting mix. As alot of realization of how much the 'fruit' fit once I got it done.

[Tohru]
I started with Tohru. I picked strawberry because that's the fruit she loves to eat. I think that was the main reason. After I got this done, I thought pink also saids much about her. Also, strawberry is a very strong and enduring plant. I had planted some strawberry before, it nearly took over my yard!

[Yuki]
I pick blueberry for Yuki, because he said blue(for Tohru's swimsuit) in the manga. I can't think of why else I did blueberry. Why do you think it fit him so well?Or not?

[Kyo]
Orange for Kyo. He is a 'sour puss'! Also his hair color. In manga, I love that if Kyoko is alive she would have tease him and call him an orange.

[Momiji]
Banana is just an fun fruit! Don't you think? Yellow for his air color. Banana is sweet too!

[Kisa]
Kisa is sweet and cute. I think peaches are sweet and cute too!

[Hiro]
Hiro is an sour green apple. It just fit him so well. And someday, when he grow up to be a prince, he can be a ripe red sweet apple. Green is his favorite color.

[Kagura]
This is a last minute thought. I can't think of why I pick this. Maybe because she has so much personality? Grape is fun to throw at people...-___-;;NVM!

[Hatsuharu]
Haru is sweet and kind. I think I pick this also because pear change from white fruit to blackish color when sit out in the air too long. I only pick it for the change maybe?

[Rin]
Cherry is sexy. That's all I think of for this choice.

[Uo and Hana]
Lemon and lime is sour and gives good punch. They protect their sweet Tohru so well!

[Ritsu]
Something not quite a peach, as Ritsu is not a girl. Also picked for the matching color for hair.

[Ayame]
Not a fruit, not a nut! But Ayame's out of the world personality fits it so well. As a fruit points out, he is such a coconut head anyhow. Yes, he is hardheaded when it comes to restoring bond between brothers.

[Hatori]
Hard shell protects the softness inside. The fruity part of the lychee looks just like ice. Taste best when served cold. Sweet sweet Hatori...lychee.

[Shigure]
Shigure is thick skinned perv! Like melon has a thick skin. Also, he make himself seem like he has no heart and will use whatever mean to get what he wants. Melon is hollow centered.

[Kureno]
Pineapple's tuff of leaves looks like rooster's crown. Why do you think this fruit fit him so well? Cause I can't figure out why I picked it. But seem I have a fan that like both of those together. So it worked.

[Akito]
Chokeberry...I had to research this one. Turns out all other kind is bitter. But the Viking Black Chokeberry is good for making jams. Akito is so black and twisted. But good thing will come at the end. Also, the bunches of berries, I made 13 individual berry for the picture, one for each zodiac. Kyo is not connected as he is shunned. Kureno is not connected as he is freed. But all are watched by Akito
